Charlotte was voted 13th Place most affordable Real Estate Market

The Real Estate market in Charlotte has slowed down some, mostly in part because prospective buyers having problems selling their homes in other cities. Still, homes selling a lot faster here than most other places. People are cashing in on their northeastern or Florida properties and moving to the Charlotte area because they can get so much more for their money (over 70,000 newcomers last year alone).

Wow!

Great info.  And I'm glad your out there.  Real estate trends are a great bench mark for business and marketing trends.  I appreciate your take on what is going on.  

I recently learned the term "Half Backs", referring to northerners who move to Florida to get away from the cold, only to find themselves discontent with the heat, and lack of seasonal change, motivating them to move to the Carolinas.  Are you finding many "Half Backs" in your real estate dealings?
