Fort Mill gave their School system a big boost by approving School Bonds!
Voters in Fort Mill voters approved $95 million in school bonds Tuesday.
The bonds were separated into two parts -- the first allocates $87 million to build two new elementary schools and one new middle school for the district. The other, at about $8 million, will help complete renovations on the gym and stadium at Nation Ford High School.
Fort Mill school officials had to freeze enrollment at two elementary schools this past school year due to overcrowding. They have said the bonds would help alleviate that problem.
