New Seafood Restaurant will replace Inn at Baxter

A new owner is taking over the former Inn at Baxter site on Market Street in Fort Mill's Baxter Village.

Hank Lim, who runs a sushi restaurant in Charlotte, said he plans to open the Fish Market on Market Street in August. It will be somewhat casual in decor, but offer fresh fish that will arrive once or twice daily and range from shrimp, clams, oysters and Georgebank sea scallops to Florida black grouper, Scottish salmon, Block Island swordfish and Carolina trout.

It will be mostly grilled seafood, but also fried. It will up to the customer how they like it: blackened, grilled, fried or sautéed.The 6,500-square-foot restaurant also will feature steaks, including New York strips and filets. Lunch will range from $7 to $11 for a full meal and $12.95 to $18.95 for dinner. A children's menu will be available for $4.95. Beer, wine and other liquor will be served.
